Very, very cool show. Phil killed on bass and the band was jammin' like hell with him. Ryan seemed very focused after his injury from the previous night.
Neko was amazing as well. Willie was Willie, and delivered nicely.
I can't remember the new bass players name and he did fine in San Diego and the first few songs in Hollywood. Ryan seemed to enjoy having him there and playing with him. Having said that everything went up a notch when Phil hit the stage. His sound is so full and the rest of the guys all seemed a bit more focused. The Jam part after Stella was prime Phil Lesh sound and everyone ripped it. When it was over every Cardinal walked around and gave Phil a hug. You could tell they enjoyed it as much as the audience.

Being a fan of the both the dead and RA independently it was a huge treat to see Phil play with Ryan. The jams were tight and Phil seemed every but as inspired by Ryan as Ryan to him. Ryan Adams is the best singer of Jerry Garcia songs than Jerry himself. This was by far the best I have ever seen Ryan. A very special evening. The Stella was exquisite.
