Here are the instructions for putting up a show from another site but this is for utorrent:


How to put up shows that you got from other torrent sites:

Before you start, have utorrent up and running with the ports open and the green check showing on the bottom middle of utorrent.

1) First locate the folder with the files in it.

2) Next in utorrent, click on FILE > CREATE NEW TORRENT

3) Click Add Directory and choose the folder that you located in step #1

4) Put this in the Tracker box: http://ryanadamsarchive.com:9976/announce

3) Check the PRIVATE Torrent checkbox.

4) Click Create and Save and choose your desktop or wherever you usually save your files, as long as you remember where you saved your file, it doesn't really matter where.

5) Go to the Torrents forum: http://www.ryanadamsarchive.com/forumdisplay.php?f=5
and start a new thread.

When you start the thread, write where you got the torrent from originally and just copy and paste the original information from the
other torrent site onto your new thread.

6) Add the torrent file as an attachment.

7) Preview your post, fix whatever needs to be fixed and click on the torrent file that you attached. The same thing that happens when you download a torrent from RAA will happen and utorrent will ask you where you want to save the files to.
Direct your utorrent to the folder from step #1 and it'll "check" it. Once it gets to 100%, give it a few seconds and utorrent will start seeding.

8) Go to the GENERAL tab on utorrent and check your TRACKER STATUS. It should say "working".

9) If you get "Failure:unregistered torrent path" then update the tracker manually. Right click the torrent file in utorrent and click update tracker.

10) If everything looks fine but you're not uploading, again update the tracker manually. Right click the torrent file in utorrent and click update tracker.

When everything looks like it's all working, submit the new thread.

What should I do?
