ich seh selten leute aus holland und wollt mal fragen ob die deutschen allgemein echt so unbeliebt sind bei euch?
jedes mal wenn ich in holland bin,hab ich immer irgendwelche negativen erfahrungen gemacht

if you want,you could answer me in english,it is maybe easier...^^

oh..and i have some new insult..

2 of my guitar strings are +broken+

and by the way i have only money for food..the months are long^^

If you don't mind I am going to answer this in English. I think there's a rule around here, posts should be in English, so everybody can read them....
Your question was if the Germans really are that unpopular in Holland... I'm going to try and answer this as clear and relative short as I can. Don't worry: I'll be completely serious.......

Yes, Germans in general have been very unpopular in Holland. This had to do with 1.World War II of course. German soldiers came here univited and robbed us of lots of things: our bicycles for instance, almost all our Jewish compatriots and thus of our innocence (more than a few Dutchmen were quite helpful in removing them and among others the gypsies).
Then 2.Fussball. The Beckenbaur boys beat us in the 1974 World Cup final. This is still considered to be a bloody shame, a more or less criminal act, as we had the best team, the best player, the best crowd. As always, to be honest, we beat ourselves through our arrogance.
As a final example 3.The 'Lebensraum' attitude of the Germans when visiting our country. Always speaking German, expecting us to answer in German. Always talking very loud, like some Obersturmbahnfuhrer. Occupying our beaches, like WW II never ended...

And now for the good news: After we won the European Meistershaft in Germany in 1988, things changed. We beat Germany in the semifinal, and that felt like a coke binge of a few weeks. We were so pyched up Lothar Mattheus would have been lynched as soon as he would have crossed the border (but Hans van Breukelen did even better: he said to Mattheus after another Schwalbe: "Ich hoffe dass du focking sterbst!!"). Marco van Basten became God. The fact that we won the final also, against the USSR, meant we finally won something, but beating the Germans was considered much more important. Finally we were free of the burden of always being looked down upon by our neighbours.

For me personal, I can tell you: I love your country and in general I love the German people (as long as football is left out of it). With my wife and children I've been coming to Germany for our summer holidays and for shorter trips for years and years. We've been to many parts of Germany and every year we're pleasantly surprised by the beauty and charm of the landscape and the people.

Having said this, there will always be your basic German fascist pigs. Just one example: this summer my wife and I went to Kevelaer, just across the border. My wife is of course very beautiful, and of mixed Dutch-Indonesian background, which makes her more colourful than me and your average German. We were in a shop, when a skinhead-like man passed me and then passed my wife, who was I guess some 5 meters away from me. After a few seconds I saw her coming to me. Something had happened. She told me this man had made monkey-like noises while passing her.... Well, there you go.... It is of course good to realise things like this happen everywhere. In Holland, In England, in France and Italy, in Belgium.... everywhere. But when it happens in Germany, the connection with the past is there immediately.... even with me....
