The Spacewolf Collection - Volume One

Well, it's been in the works for about 5 months now, but it's finally done. Anyone who wants to do artwork, feel free. I had originally wanted to include it in the torrent, however no one had created any by the time I'm posting this, so I guess we'll just add it later (assuming that someone creates some).

It's 7CDs - 2 acoustic (plus an alternate version of the first acoustic disc), 4 electric. All the tracks are taken from the 2006 European tour (Spacewolf's first as a Cardinal). I'm calling it Volume One, in case someone else wants to do future compilations. Most, but not all, of the songs played on the tour made it onto the compilation.

Purists beware - several of the songs here are taken from more than one performance. There were a number of reasons why I did this. In some cases, songs would segue into another song that I'd already used, sometimes parts of a song would be great & others wouldn't, some songs were never played without errors throughout the entire tour (like Goodnight Rose - they never did get the intro right on this tour), etc etc. Sometimes I just liked a solo better in a different performance from the one I decided to use (like Blue Hotel). There is a lot of banter scattered throughout the CDs, and sometimes that got edited too. The idea was to make it sound like one continuous concert. Overall, I'm VERY happy with the way it came out. Hopefully you will be too. Again, if you're a purist and all this editing rubs you the wrong way, don't download it.

On the first acoustic disc, Ryan switches back & forth between piano and guitar on the first 11 songs. On the alternate version, I put all the piano songs together and then all the guitar songs together. The last three tracks are the same. You can choose which way you prefer.

All editing was done by me, using Sound Forge.

I just uploaded a new torrent file. uTorrent says I'm seeding and "working" in the tracker status.

Hopefully this fixed everything....

Anyone know why the seeder and completed totals aren't showing up like the other torrents? All the others have a "S: xx C: xx" line. Or does that only show up for people other than the original seeder?

For anyone who might be thinking about downloading this and then seeing that there are no seeders... There is a problem on the forum right now. Last time I checked, there were 11 seeders but in the list of threads there is no "S:xx C:xx" notation visible. I've already PM'd UV about this and he said he was going to talk to Joel about it. My ratios haven't been updating either - don't know if anyone else is experiencing this or not.

Anyway, if you're even remotely interested in this compilation - go for it! There ARE seeders.
